Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced senior account manager to build and maintain relationships with clients. You must gauge clients’ needs and provide the solutions they are looking for using your in-depth knowledge of our products and services. As an account manager, you will introduce new products or services to new or existing clients while leveraging client retention techniques to ensure client satisfaction. Other duties of an account manager include staying apprised of industry trends and training junior team members.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service job
- Demonstrable skills in closing sales and meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Excellent time management and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
- MSc/MBA/BSc/BA in Marking or Business or relevant field is a plus
