The Senior Technology Manager handles technology application development and support for corporate & investment banking business in APAC region. Division designs, architects and delivers technology solutions on regional platform to drive business growth for our Commercial, Corporate & Investment Banking and Markets clients in APAC region. Division works closely with APAC GTS business for building regional business enablement and regulatory requirements on in-country, regional and global platforms.

Provide answers to customer enquiries related technical service and product.

Identify and qualify new opportunities and work with internal team and emerging channels to win new business and grow the footprint within the territory.

Expertise on developing 24x7, active-active platforms to meet products and regulatory requirements for performance SLA and availability.
Responsible for owning end-2-end delivery for in-house application platforms.
Candidate will work closely with Architects, global technology teams, APAC Branch Operations and APAC business
Responsible for the building in-house solutions to support APAC Operations group and Business for Payments, Trade and Receivables domain.
Provide technical directions and previous hands-on implementation experience to deliver transformation strategies across various channels and clearings
Responsible for building and leading a team of technology specialist and developers to deliver products and services that meet business outcomes.
Ensure people development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development.
Develop technology strategies and ensures technology solutions comply with applicable standards.
This role advocates and advances modern, agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering and organizational practices.
Manages relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products.
Accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams e.g., prioritizing tech debt, compliance and security items, and supporting audits.
Accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices and standards are met.
Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews).
Creates the technology strategy for their technical domain. Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.

Candidate should be a JAVA/J2EE Generalist with past “Hands-On” Programming experience and specialization in leading enterprise application design & development where he/she needs to demonstrate abilities in developing a broad spectrum of J2EE applications, database, middleware or off the shelf product implementations.
As a technology leader involve in diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and Devops CI/CD tools. Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technology resource.
Strong knowledge of Agile development and delivery through multi-disciplined Scrum teams; especially knowledge of Product Owner and Scrum Master roles
Ability and experience to lead projects with direct reports on special initiatives.
Ability to collaborate with vendor partners/programmers to coordinate delivery of software application. Entail regular interaction with global initiative technology managers and team leads.
Demonstrated abilities in prioritization and execution of multiple tasks are required to be successful in this position.
Desirable with experience in on premise or external Cloud, Container based development with associated certifications.
TOGAF or associated certification
Experience in deploying AI Robotics, Banking APIs Fin tech and emerging technology solutions is desired.
