The Program aims to relieve the concentration risk in Hong Kong Data Center so some of the Hong Kong based DiDCs will need to be moved to Australia, Japan, Singapore or London Data Centers based on the guidelines on the user’s physical location.
Responsibilities
- Work with the program manager, PMO and local desktop support team to deliver the services to the business units
- Pick up the tools and processes used for the migration program
- Set up and configure new devices based on the firm standard
- Engage with users to test the new device
- Troubleshoot application/migration issues in case there are any and escalate to the PMO when seeing a trend of repeated issues for a mass of users
- Coordinate the migration of user’s network drive to the same location as their new device
- Provide updates of migration in our deployment portal
- Migrate the original desktop to appliance PC based on the firm standard

Qualification / Requirements
- Higher Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline
- At least 2 years in support/ engineering positions
Skills
- Demonstrate experience of desktop support and user/customer interfacing
- Strong communication skills
- Being logical, analytical, flexible and adaptable
- Attention to detail
- Can work in a team and also work independently
- Excel, SharePoint and TEAMS experience
