Engineering Manager

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate software engineering manager who thrives in a start-up environment with a small yet focused and highly collaborative team while engaging with our larger global engineering teams effectively. You will be working closely with the Project, Product, Design to lead an engineering team to develop and help define and execute projects. Therefore, strong communication skills and a desire to be involved in all aspects of the development life-cycle are necessary. In addition, strong problem-solving skills, thinking outside the box, and dealing with ambiguity are skills that we value. Our technology stack is primarily PHP, Javascript, Ruby, and abilities on Ruby/Rails, Node.js, AngularJS, ReactJS, Redux, Vue, iOS, Android, but we are not dogmatic about it.

You will be working with a team of passionate and motivated engineers in solving exciting and challenging problems. Many mission-based cross-functional teams are driven by well-defined success metrics in our Tokyo office. While your initial focus will be the development of products aimed at addressing specific needs of the Japanese market, you will join a global brand that is revolutionizing the way people work everywhere.
