OMS Application Development - US Investment Bank
ITCS Group appointed to develop significant components of the Bank’s proprietary Order Management System, within the Equities division in Hong Kong. As part of the project, ITCS has developed DMA (Direct Market Access) functionality for several markets, crossing and several smaller Business requirements. ITCS has provided the development for the launch of the OMS in new countries like India and major upgrades in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore.

Datacenter build-out and relocation - American Investment Bank
Our client, one of the world’s top 10 investment banks, engaged ITCS Group to assist their internal staff with the new datacenter build-out, relocation and decommissioning of their existing datacenter in the Tokyo area. The objective of the project was to build and fit out a 15,000 sq. ft. site including building construction, structured cabling, racks, network and telecommunications infrastructure, server infrastructure, and market data services. Approximately 1500 new servers were purchased and installed into the new datacenter. Telecoms Expense Management – Global Investment Bank
Global Investment Bank appointed ITCS Group to provide Telecoms Expense Management / Business Analyst services for an Asia-Pacific wide telecommunications review programme. ITCS Group was appointed to help realise substantial telecoms costs savings & increased functional & operational efficiencies across the bank.  Following a review, a number of cost saving opportunities were identified and ITCS were further engaged to assist in the implementation of the programme that covered Voice and Data circuits, Trader Voice, Mobile, Audio and Video conferencing services. read more

Office set-up – Hong Kong Hedge Fund
ITCS Group was appointed to manage the office IT setup including the 6 trade desks. ITCS was responsible for IT design, procurement, project management and implementation. The project was successfully completed in 28 days.

Equities Development - International Investment Bank
ITCS Group appointed to provide the Lead Developer & development team that included the Global Program Management and head of PM teams. The appointment included the launch and off-shoring pilot for 10 development staff, the definition and implementation of processes for a Global Software vendor and overall program management (Implementation of Project Initiation Process, Business & Functional Requirements gathering Process, Estimation Process & Change Control Process)

Relocation - Top Investment Bank Tokyo
ITCS Group was appointed to lead the Trading Floor Relocation from Akasaka to the Shin-Marunouchi Building in Tokyo. It was a significant project that included the move of approximately 2000 Employees and included a simultaneous Windows 2000 to Windows XP migration across 3500 PCs inclusive of 250 Traders (Equities, Fixed Income, IBD). In addition to the overall relocation and upgrade program ITCS Group were also responsible for the Desktop Consolidation Program & Unix workstation retirement which Included retiring 800 UNIX Workstations and migrating applications onto the new Windows Desktop environment

Application Migration Project Management - UK Investment Bank
Following the acquisition of another bank, our client needed to create a Unified Infrastructure across Asia Pacific with the program requiring application integration, consolidation and migration to ensure that the underlying application infrastructure conformed to the banks standards, and that all components of the application, including security, monitoring, patching, maintenance, back-ups, and deployment, are compliant. The project scope includes all applications hosted across the four primary data centre hubs in Asia Pacific; namely Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. read more

IT Project Management - Global IT Cabling vendor
Our client, a leading US based cabling system manufacturer, was awarded the contract to supply the IT cabling infrastructure required for the relocation of Global Investment Bank in Hong Kong. The project included the relocation of 2,000 staff, the building of 2 Communication rooms (3,000 square feet) and 2 data centers (4,500 square feet) within a 9 month time frame. With the tight project schedule, ITCS Group was appointed to provide the project management services as part of our client’s solution to the bank. ITCS acted as the main vendor interface for all the concurrent sub-projects and managed the interaction between the Bank’s corporate services and facilities teams, the Bank’s IT teams and the vendors teams on the production, delivery, product quality and design issues. The project was completed successfully in Q4 2009.

IT PMO Reporting services – Global Investment Bank
ITCS Group was appointed to provide IT PMO reporting services as part of an ongoing Managed Service. Following the transition of the regional IT reporting function into the Project Management group, ITCS worked with the client’s management team to assess the processes and structure of the regional reporting processes and responsibilities. New processes were implemented to ensure consistent and transparent views of programmes and projects across the region. read more

Application Development - European Investment Bank
ITCS Group was appointed to provide Project Management services for the Wealth Management software development for a major Investment Bank. The project included simulator development and Off-shoring to China which required the setup of a new China development center, currently housing 150 developers (2007). ITCS Group project managed the Wealth Management Software worldwide across international distributed teams including sole responsibility for start-up in Panama and major upgrades in Japan. In addition, ITCS were responsible for implementing a Process Improvement Program (CMMI & Six Sigma) and defined & implemented Build & Packaging standards, source code layout & strategy, release management process and improved the overall SDLC.

Data Centre selection - International Law Firm
ITCS Group appointed for Data centre selection and RFP process. ITCS undertook site visits and reviews of potential Data Centres, performed due diligence analysis and carried out contract negotiation on behalf of our client which included the management of procurement packages and RFP development including M&E, location, risk, options & costs. Upon site selection, ITCS Group Project Managed the Data Centre relocation including the migration and implementation of all servers, storage (EMC), Clusters & network equipment. The project required close co-ordination with the customer’s UK headquarters to ensure live-live migration and included BCP site testing, failover testing and conducting of BCP drills.
